Filtershield® is a unique and innovative food filter system which protects the drainage systems in commercial kitchens from food-related blockages.
Filtershield® removes the following common elements of food waste

Installed in-line the unit features a unique waterfall design where effluent flow is slowed thereby encouraging settlement of food and coffee sediment.
Once a day all staff need to do is remove the lid, lift out the inner basket (see image below) and empty the contents into the refuse.
The unique design also means that the food waste is not submerged in effluent and therefore doesn’t turn into a sludge. See below the inner basket with a 'cake' of potato peelings.
