The bacteria in Cessclean are highly efficient in degrading domestic waste in septic tanks which typically do not have good mixing or aeration. These bacteria are known as facultative organisms which means that they can operate under low dissolved oxygen conditions. This action helps to digest the solids which accumulate at the bottom of the septic tank.

WHAT IS CESSCLEAN?
Cessclean contains a blend of bacteria, which have been specially selected for their ability to biodegrade organic waste materials arising from normal domestic activities. These bacterial strains have been individually grown in pure culture, harvested, preserved and blended in a selected combination. The bacteria are stabilised on a cereal base.

HOW CESCLEAN WORKS
Bacteria grow and reproduce by using organic material in domestic effluent as a food source. In order to break down many complex biological materials found in the effluent e.g. - proteins, carbohydrates and fats they produce enzymes which are excreted into the surrounding liquid. These enzymes act by degrading these large molecules into smaller compounds, which can be taken into the bacterial cells to complete the degradation process.

Cessclean contains a broad range of micro organisms specially selected for their ability to degrade organic waste products arising from kitchens, toilets, etc. in septic tanks. These microbes produce a range of enzymes, which are capable of degrading proteins, fats, starch and cellulose. This natural degradation process that has been in existence for millions of years is harnessed by the use of microbial products such as Cesclean.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Open packet and pour into the toilet and flush, or pour directly into the septic tank. For best results, apply at night using the toilet nearest the septic tank and leave in bowl for 10 minutes before flushing.

Dosing should be scheduled when the flow through the system is at a minimum.

START UP
To restore biological balance to poor performing tanks:
One 60g packet daily for four days

MAINTENANCE DOSE
Normal household tank-up to 2500 litres:
One 60g packet per month

For household tanks over 2500 litres or household with large numbers we advise dosing with one 60 gram sachet every 2 weeks
