Grease Treatment
Traditionally the only way to manage fat, oil and grease from a commercial kitchen was to use a conventional grease trap fitted inside the kitchen or externally.

In the last 10 years advances in biotechnology have led to the identification of naturally occurring micro-organisms which have the ability to attack and degrade grease particles.

Biological Products Regular treatment of the drainage system (or a connecting grease trap) using biological additives creates a living-culture of bacteria which works to break down fat, oil and grease throughout the day.

Watling Hope have been at the forefront of biological grease treatment since 1998. We have provided systems for a wide-range of commercial catering applications including:

- leading pub groups
- leading restaurant operators
- independent restaurants
- supermarkets
- airports
- schools and universities
- hospitals
- golf clubs
- care homes

Watling Hope's grease treatment products have been rigorously tested in the field to ensure a high level of performance. All products contain both enzymes and selected bacteria so they not only emulsify grease but break it down completely.

Our biological grease treatment products can be used to treat grease either in an existing grease-trap (which will reduce the trap emptying frequency) or as a stand-alone drain maintenance system.

Please browse through Automatic and Manual grease treatment.

Automatic Treatment
Regular injection of grease digesting micro-organisms into the drainage system. No staff maintenance required.

Manual Treatment
Easy to use sachets for manual preparation and manual dosing into the drain line. Great for pouring into floor gulleys to improve flow and control odours.
