| The Grease Shield® is an automatic self-cleaning grease trap developed to combat the traditional problem of grease trap emptying.
The Grease Shield® traps grease in the same-way as a conventional trap but instead of retaining the separated grease-waste the system skims off the oil and discharges it into an external container.
This means that there is no loss of efficiency so the system consistently removes a high-level (over 95%) of fat, oil and grease making it ideal for areas where grease must not enter the drainline such as on pumped drainage connections, sewage treatment plants etc.
